Fixed Income Portfolio Assistant
WRIGHT is
looking to add a member to their Fixed Income
Team.
The primary role is
to assist the fixed income portfolio managers in collecting and
analyzing data, selecting investments, managing portfolios,
preparing for meetings with clients and prospects, and completing
RFPs. The Fixed Income Portfolio Assistant will also work with the
members of Client Service Team in supporting their requests for
information on investments and portfolios, and with members of the
Equity Team with respect to company
coverage.
The successful
candidate will have 1-3 years experience in fixed income
investments, a high-level command of mathematics, and expert skills
in Excel. Experience with Bloomberg and CMS BondEdge are highly
desirable. Business degree, MBA, CFA or CFA-candidate
preferred.
The willingness to
work flexible hours, the ability to work well with others under
pressure and the desire to work in a dynamic entrepreneurial
environment are essential.
Portfolio
Administrator
WRIGHT has provided investment management solutions to
private clients, bank trust departments and institutions for more
than 40 years. Our goal
is to provide consistent investment results while delivering
superior service to our clients. To accomplish this we manage
a variety of separate account styles and combine them with mutual
funds and ETF’s to create portfolio solutions tailored to the needs
of each client.
Job Responsibilities – The successful candidate
will operate in a team of 5, responsible for the investment
administration of customized portfolio strategies for client
accounts.
Duties will
include:
Accurate and timely implementation to
multiple client accounts of portfolio and asset allocation changes
created by product managers.
Investment of new client accounts and
deposits to existing accounts.
Daily communication by phone and email
with bank trust officers, transfer agents and custodians.
Scheduled reviews of client accounts to
ensure compliance with guidelines.
Documentation of work flow for
compliance purposes.
Qualifications –
Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience,
preferably in finance or banking.
Dedication to client service and
teamwork.
Strong oral and written communication
skills.
Strong computer skills and a desire to
apply technology to enhance personal and departmental
productivity.
Organized and attentive to
detail.
Series 65 or 7 license or willingness to
obtain.
