Overview
Pathways is
designed to enable your company to offer flexible and comprehensive
defined contribution plan services to your employees, while minimizing
the time and expense of plan administration. The program is based
upon a prototype plan design, supported by dedicated client service.
The program
provides:

administrative and record-keeping services, including daily
valuation and participant telephone exchange and inquiry

Based
on a flexible core plan
Pathways
can accommodate all corporate defined contribution and defined
benefit plans. There are two prototype plans, both approved by the
Internal Revenue Service. The first is a standardized plan, the
adoption of which means substantially reduced paperwork and
technical problems for you, the plan sponsor, while providing
flexibility of choice in plan provisions. If you want more
flexibility, or several qualified retirement plans, the
nonstandardized prototype plan offers you a simple, streamlined
method of adding an additional plan or combining several of the plans,
with a simplified submission process to your Internal Revenue Service
District Office. Both plans will be continuously updated, ensuring
compliance in core plan design.
